About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our IT team at Kreditz. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in optimizing our cloud services, reducing costs, and improving the performance of our expanding algorithms/logic. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, ensuring efficient cloud usage, and staying up to date with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage secure, scalable and resilient cloud architecture on AWS that align with business objectives and requirements.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, implementing necessary controls and monitoring systems.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure cost efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cloud solutions into application development and delivery pipelines.
• Develop cloud migration strategies and execute the migration of infrastructure to a new, automated and scalable environment
• Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems to AWS cloud.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and company policies.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and cloud trends to drive innovation.

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with deep AWS expertise to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You have excellent english communication skills (swedish is a plus). It is also advantageous to have a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.

You should have:

• Strong knowledge of network architecture, security best practices, and cloud governance.
• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Micro-services, Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Expertise in designing secure, scalable cloud-native architectures and a strong grasp of cloud patterns, best practices, and security frameworks.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation.
• Experience with relational databases

Experience in FinTech and PSD2 technologies, as well as certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect, would be a strong asset. Additionally, familiarity with ISO standards would also be beneficial.
